John Sisco

John is the Broker of Sisco & Farris, LLC, a licensed TN Real Estate Brokerage firm, and provides financial analysis and project support to the Land Innovations, LLC team. John’s previous experience includes working as Director of Operations for a Tennessee real estate investment firm which owned and managed a multi-family portfolio consisting of 1300 units located in Tennessee and Georgia.

His diverse background also includes time in DC where he reported to the Director of Special Projects for the United States Senate Sergeant at Arms, primarily assisting with the initial development of the monthly Financial and Operations Report for the department’s $70 million annual budget.  In addition to his financial background, John also worked for the Legislative Director to Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-MS) and as a Staff Assistant for Senator Conrad Burns (R-MT) ultimately finishing his time in Washington working in the Office of Legislative Affairs in the Executive Office of the President during the initial term of President George W. Bush.

After returning to Nashville, he expanded his skill set by providing development and investment analysis to the Sisco Group, a real estate consulting firm with offices in Washington, DC and Nashville, Tennessee. During this time, he successfully completed a mixed-use development in downtown Nashville called The Lofts at 320 Broadway, helped co-found Nacho’s Mexican Restaurant with three locations in the Nashville area, and worked as a legislative analyst for a Health Information Company.

John received his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in 2008 from the Massey School at Belmont University where he was awarded the Massey ETS Top 10% Award for outstanding performance on the National Educational Testing Service Major Field Test in Business.  He is also a lifetime member of the Friends of the Monroe Carell Jr.  Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Lisa Underwood, owner of Underwood Marketing and Events, is a high-energy sales and marketing professional with over 25 years’ experience in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee residential real estate industry. Underwood began her career as the marketing director of a large, Brentwood, TN-based residential home building company working alongside CPS Land co-owner, Dudley Smith, and controller, Lisa Carnes.

Lisa is well-versed in all aspects of new-home and residential development marketing including market research, strategic planning and budgeting, event planning, advertising, media buying, website coordination, social media, brochure development and coordination, press releases and corporate newsletters, signage programming, and public relations. Her client list is a who’s who of Middle Tennessee’s top builders and developers. Throughout her career, she has been involved in various aspects of many highly successful new-home communities such as Annandale, Voce, Witherspoon, Montclair, Fieldstone Farms, Burkitt Place, Kings Chapel, Hideaway at Arrington, Hampton Reserve, Stream Valley and Sherwood Green Estates in Williamson County; Lenox Village, Mill Run, Highlands of Brentwood, Villages of Brentwood, and Riverwalk on the Harpeth in Davidson County; Marymont Springs and Laurelwood in Rutherford County; and Providence in Wilson County.

Wayne E. (Trey) Ripley, III

Since January 2011, Trey Ripley has been the COO for a Nashville family.  In that role he is responsible for accounting, financial reporting, managing their real estate portfolio including acquisitions and dispositions, overseeing tax matters and various other activities. He received his masters of business administration from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science at The University of the South. Trey Ripley spent 5 years with CPS Land assisting with deal structures, financial analysis, contract management and the administration of projects and still consults with CPS Land.
